A cargo of poetry
Nobody is working anymore since the cargo of poetry has calmly wrecked on the nearby cliffs. We spend our days on the beach, waiting for the waves to carry random words fragments...
A short poetic experience that regenerates every time.
Made for bitsy's jam "Shipwreck" and minijam 105 "Dreamy" with constraint "Every Playthrough is Unique"
Art and music by myself. Made with bipsi, a tool inspired of bitsy, using a custom rendering script based on color queenjazz's color hack.

This is so stunning. The music is beautiful and each generated poem manages to be sweet. I found myself doing exactly what the game says: looking for meaning in serendipity. Thanks for making this work of art!
Awww thank you! I'm so happy that it inspired you!!!
This is such a tender game. It's simple but works like an absolute charm. I love it a lot! The poems generated are all nice and unique too. It is clear that there's a lot of thought put into it beneath its surface. Wonderful work! Thanks for creating and sharing this ๐๐๐
Thank you so much for taking the time to play and enjoy it! It was very important to me that even randomly, those words could carry the simple poetic atmosphere I was after. Thank you for appreciating it, I'm touched by your comment ๐ธ
I'm glad and you're welcome! You nailed it with the serenity and flow. They come together pretty well every time! Excited to see more of your stuff ๐๐๐
๐ธ Thanks!! Besides games I've already uploaded, I try to publish one for a game jam every month, following the same poetic style ^_^ โญ
I will look into them when I open my laptop latero! ๐ฐ
Beautiful game - tender is the perfect word for it.
Love your work @jsmonzani (the music in particular is wonderful).
aww thank you! I love to play music for relaxing, and I sometimes record it. Whereas producing an album can be daunting (so I rarely update my bandcamp account), using part of them for my games can be a fun experience: I play a music, launch my game and if it doesn't fit, just try another one ๐ For this game though I've expressly quickly composed a short track. I usually record everything in one go to keep it fresh.
