A short intriguing visual story made for bitsy's game jam "Public transport".

Art and music by myself. Made with bipsi, a fork of bitsy, using a custom rendering script based on color queenjazz's color hack.

The pure ATMOSPHERE in the art, soundtrack, colors, pacing, writing... Mwah, wonderful. I couldn't express how much these types of games, stories, and moods mean to me. The music in particular intrigued me so so much. I wonder if there's a way for us to listen to them like on Soundcloud or buy them on Bandcamp. I'd love to support it! Great job <3

Thank you so much! Your feedback means a lot to me, I see how much you appreciate the mood of each game, that's so great!

Indeed I've got a bandcamp https://jsmonzani.bandcamp.com/

Most of these tracks are unreleased yet, because they "need" mastering and I absolutely hate to master them. But maybe I should release them as they are, that might be a good solution.

However, I suggest you check my other most recent albums    keshiki ้ขจๆ™ฏ, shimakage ๅณถๅฝฑ and SOON as they follow the same ambient vibes.

In the meantime, I'm gonna create an album this weekend with my unreleased tracks and call it a day! ๐Ÿ‘ Thanks for motivating me.

Thank you so much for the reply and the link! I am so looking forward to more of your works!! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

Thank you!!

I've just released my new album ANNO! Check it out here: https://jsmonzani.bandcamp.com/album/anno

Most of my games music are in there (sometimes with different names ). If not, then their music is coming from a previous album ๐Ÿ˜…

I hope that you will enjoy it!

Thank you! I wishlisted it immediately the moment an update was sent to my e-mail last night. ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’˜โ€ผ๏ธ Awesome work!

Thank you for helping me stop procrastinating and finally publish it! ๐Ÿคฃ

This is great. I'm going to have to check out Bipsi sometime soon.

Thank you! ๐ŸŒธ I've hacked bipsi visual engine a lot for this but feel free to come back to me and I'll send you more information. Seeing your work, you'd be happy to know that bipsi natively supports background / foreground images without restrictions ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well written and I love the graphics. Great work!

Thank you very much for enjoying and for your comments! Being a nonnative English speaker, it's always a challenge to write these. I'm really happy you've enjoyed it!

Wow, thank you so much! I often start visually for these little stories, I guess it helped ๐Ÿ˜Š I always appreciate your support!

This is beautiful! Love it. A bit new to the Bitsy scene, my Google-fu is usually good but I couldn't find the color hack. Is it available, and where could I find out more about it? Sorry about the question.

But beautiful game, beautiful art, I love it! :)

Thank you! I'm using bipsi, which is a completely different project than bitsy while sharing the same idea. They are not compatible. Maybe you can try it out and come back to me if you like it:

https://candle.itch.io/bipsi

(As of bitsy, there's a color version available. I encourage you to join bitsy (and bipsi) discord channels for tips and help).

Finally, I'm pushing this color hack a lot here, changing also the room dimensions, etc. This requires some JavaScript knowledge. Once again, bipsi discord is a good place to discuss it if you like. I'm also picking a beta version of bipsi which isn't released yet.

If you try bipsi and join its discord (the link is available directly from bipsi page above), you will find this hack (and I think bipsi's beta) in the bipsi-tips-and-help subchannel.

Hope this is a starting point for you ๐Ÿ˜Š
